Spa
One&Only Spa by ESPA is an award-winning tranquil retreat… a place where tension dissolves with the gentle ebb and flow of the Indian Ocean. Here, well-being consultations are on offer for guests seeking holistic, individualised programmes combining fitness, nutrition, beauty and rejuvenating treatments.
Located in a secluded area of the resort with expansive relaxation lawns and manicured gardens, One&Only Spa commands an impressive space of 9,500 square meters with spectacular views of the ocean.
Natural and healing therapies are provided in eight luxurious treatment villas, each nestled beneath its own thatched roof and uniquely designed to form a luxurious natural environment with exquisite finishes of Batu Chandi stone surrounding the terrace platform. Two over-water double treatment suites are an enticing retreat for two. Customized treatments are based on Ayurvedic traditions infused with western luxuries.
It is an all-encompassing experience with swirling vitality pools, crystal steam rooms, saunas and stimulating ice fountains. Lifestyle showers create a refreshing burst of tropical rain, and exotic spa cuisine and beachside relaxation pavilions complete the journey.

Fitness
Situated beachside with breathtaking sea views, the Fitness Studio offers state-of-the-art, innovative TechnoGym equipment, including the very latest Kinesis Bodycentric training system, all supervised by highly qualified resident trainers.
Yoga, Tai Chi and meditation are practised in the tranquillity of the Chi Pavilion set above the gentle waters of the lagoon, while the high-tech gym focuses on more energetic fitness training.

Tennis
One&Only Reethi Rah has two floodlit, synthetic grass tennis courts and offers individual and group instruction.
Courts open daily 8am to 12pm and 4pm to 8pm.

Excursions
North Mal? Atoll is alive with possibilities for those who wish to explore a little further afield. Day-trips off the island include traditional handline fishing aboard a Maldivian dhoni, luxury atoll cruising in One&Only’s 55-foot yacht (with snorkelling stops and some unique surprise refreshment breaks), private island picnics on the perfectly secluded ‘Robinson Crusoe’ sandbank, epicurean cruising with champagne and caviar, seaplane flights or big game fishing – to catch yellow fin tuna, wahoo, and marlin.
From fishing charters to luxury yacht cruises, the Maldives is a water-lover’s paradise. The dhoni is the traditional sailing vessel of the Maldives, and the resort offers a variety of authentic excursions ideal for couples, groups of friends, and families.

Water Sports
With its spectacular shape and six kilometres of stunning coastline blessed with 12 beautiful beaches, One&Only Reethi Rah is a water-lover’s paradise. Many guests visit simply to explore the amazing tropical wonders of the Indian Ocean, embarking on a dolphin-watching expedition, gliding over crystalline waters on a catamaran, or soaring into the sky on a parasailing adventure.
Other water sports on offer include banana tube rides, canoeing, kayaking, water-skiing and windsurfing. Enjoy island hopping and cocktail cruises or set out on a big game deep-sea fishing excursion.

Diving and snorkelling
Thilas, giris, reefs, drop-offs, corners, channels, wrecks – and visibility of up to 50 metres – make this a wonderful and safe place to learn to dive, and an equally rewarding centre for further exploration by the already qualified. Within a short distance is one of the Maldives' best shark sites, as well as the 1988 wreck of the Hembadu, the Rasfari Protected Marine Area and some excellent turtle and manta ray viewing.
At the One&Only Reethi Rah Dive Centre, a PADI Gold Palm Resort and the only PADI National Georgaphic Dive Centre in the Maldives, a team of experts offer a wide range of PADI-certified dive programmes for adults and children as young as 8 years old, including a complimentary daily orientation dive. A PADI Open Water Dive qualification can be achieved during a one-week stay. “Bubblemaker” lessons for younger kids and Discover Scuba programs for pre-teens and older are also available.
Underwater scooters, digital cameras and camcorders are available for personal use. The One&Only Reethi Rah Dive Centre operates two luxury Dive Dhonis, complete with sun decks, hot showers, robes and refreshments
State-of-the-art equipment includes SCUBAPRO, as well as Bauer and Komptec compressors, all serviced on a regular basis with absolute safety in mind.
The One&Only Reethi Rah Dive Centre is open daily from 8:30am to 7:00pm.

Pools and beaches
With 12 beaches and 40 pools, water sports abound on this island paradise.
For more relaxing pursuits, guests may bask in the carved stone bed of the lap pool which stretches out into the ocean, cool in the main pool under swaying palms, or simply indulge in a day of seclusion at a private villa pool or personal stretch of sandy beach.
The main pools are located near Reethi Restaurant. The adult-only lap pool extends 30 metres out into the lagoon and features a unique bubble bed at one end, while the freeform infinity-edge pool has an internal Jacuzzi and islands.
Children have their own pool at KidsOnly, which is supervised at all times by a certified lifeguard.

Power sports
With six kilometres of coastline and 12 beaches there are plenty of choices when it comes to power sports. Water-skiing, speed boat hire, parasailing and wakeboarding are just some of the exciting power sports available at the Water Sports Centre, with expert tuition to help guests get started.

Land Sports
The resort is always buzzing with the energy of island life, and there are dozens of activities to choose from every day. Excitement is just beyond the doorstep of each villa with beach volleyball, football and P?tanque. Bicycling and jogging are great ways to explore the island’s 44 hectares.

With an eye towards perfection, the resort features its own organic Chef’s Garden, and speciality items such as Kobe beef and toro from Japan are shipped on a regular basis. At One&Only Reethi Rah, island chic is the keynote for evenings, and the innovative and fresh cuisine is prepared with passion and flair.

Reethi Restaurant
A temple of exquisite dining, the dramatic design of Reethi Restaurant frames the natural beauty all around and the stunning cuisine, impeccable service and low-key ambience within. An eclectic menu fuses flavours from Asia Pacific and the Mediterranean into a light, contemporary cuisine. Floor-to-ceiling glass screens reveal the ‘open-concept’ show kitchen, and a walk-in wine room with an extensive collection doubles as a private dining room for special events.

Rah Bar
Swimmers and sunbathers needn’t move far from the main pool to partake in the amazing menu at the adjacent Rah Bar. An all day menu of healthy salads, wraps and snacks also offers low-fat smoothies made with exotic fresh fruits and vegetables, a variety of waters and a fresh juice station. With the fall of evening, Rah Bar is transformed into a vibrant cocktail bar with live music, cool martinis, tropical cocktails, sparkling champagne and a fine collection of vintage rums from the Indian Ocean and Caribbean islands.

Tapasake
This over-water venue combines incredible sunset views with modern Japanese cuisine. For the purist, the chef hand-picks ingredients ensuring sushi and sashimi meet the highest standards. The menu features superb fish and seafood, fresh from the Indian Ocean, transformed into Indian-Japanese tapas. In addition to a selection of premium Sakes, the wine lists concentrates on the worlds’ best Rieslings.

Fanditha
Hidden on the northern tip of the island is the sensual, Arabesque Fanditha. This exotic, beachside spot serves an a la carte Middle Eastern influenced menu of mezzehs, chargrills and salads – accompanied by the finest selection of chilled ros�s and champagnes. At the lounge area, guests may laze on divan-style bolsters and Arabic carpets, on bamboo loungers or in woven hammocks. On selected evenings, there are late-night parties under the stars with live DJ entertainment, creating a chill-out ambiance amidst chandeliers dangling from trees.

More than 900 labels from some of the finest wine producers throughout the world are on offer at One&Only Reethi Rah. Stored in two temperature-controlled walk-in wine cellars are more than 9,000 bottles from the famed regions of California, the ch�teaux of Bordeaux, the lush wineries of Australasia and the winelands of South Africa.
The Wine Cellar doubles as a Private Dining Room and is ideal for special events and private get-togethers.
